OUR STORY

FROM A PICKUP TEAM TO A WIDER MOVEMENT

Chimera started with a simple frustration shared by players who loved Ultimate but had limited opportunities to play beyond their local championship. Many came from clubs that were not very active, and for some, playing abroad or joining new tournament experiences felt almost impossible. So they decided to create those opportunities themselves.

THE BEGINNING

Chimera was first created as a pickup team. The idea was simple: bring together motivated players, join tournaments and make it easier for people to experience Ultimate outside their usual environment.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES

What began as a way to travel and play soon became something more meaningful. Chimera gave players access to new tournaments, new teammates and new experiences they might never have had through their own club structure.

GROWING THROUGH ULTIMATE

Chimera gradually evolved into a broader community focused not only on playing, but also on personal growth and Ultimate development. The goal was no longer just to participate in events, but to help people grow as players, teammates and individuals.
